Photo transfer onto wood, using glue (dried on the board) and gel medium
(on the front of the cardstock photo before sticking it face down on the board).
After 24 hours you wash the cardstock off the board. When I took this first brighter picture of the result, I didn't realize there was still a layer of the original
photo on a thin layer of paper. I liked the
effect and could have just varnished over this look and been done with it.
But I wanted only the true transfer, so when I realized there was still
paper, I kept scrubbing gently, and got the final hazier result as
shown below, on bare wood, which I think is also beautiful. The correct material for this is
apparently Mod Podge which I didn't have and a laser printer, ditto.
