Gayle and Dianne 2

From a photo of me and Gayle, circa 1953. She took about 2 minutes and the drawing of me took the rest of the hour. Almost nothing harder than drawing a toddler. Pencil.

  1. I thought you were going to say, "nothing is harder than drawing yourself".

  2. So true, and I thought of that while I was doing it too. Why is it so hard to draw yourself? I figured I must have great expectations of how wonderful I should look. Or maybe it's that we just know our own faces so well and know if they're wrong. But that wouldn't really apply to a baby face, which I've long forgotten.
